Angler's Alibi AlaskaFly fishing, salmon fishing, trophy trout fishing |
Angler's Alibi Alaska is fly fishing, salmon fishing, trophy trout fishing and wildlife viewing. We are on the Alagnak River, accessible only by floatplane and 250 miles from the nearest highway, in Alaska's most famous remote fishing area, adjacent to the more than four million acre Katmai National Park. The world famous Alagnak River has a combined run of over 3 million King, Sockeye, Silver, Chum and Pink Salmon each year plus a huge resident population of Trophy Rainbow Trout and Grayling. I have been guiding and hosting guests in this very special Alaska fishing area since 1975, and our goal is to provide the best Alaska fishing and wildlife viewing experience possible. Our Alaska fly fishing program is the top priority and all of our guides are excellent/patient fly fishing, fly tying instructors, but we are equally familiar with spin & casting gear if that is your preference. At Angler's Alibi Alaska fishing always comes first, but you will also see an unbelievable array of wildlife. Sighting of brown bears, moose, beavers, otters, eagles, osprey, loons and other waterfowl are everyday occurrences

At Angler's Alibi Alaska, we cater to only ten fishing guests at a time, so you can count on great camaraderie, plenty of individual attention, and an Alaska fishing program tailored to your expectations. There are no roads or crowds, just unbelievable fishing, spectacular scenery, and an abundance of wildlife! The best salmon fishing on the Alagnak River is within a ten minute boat ride from Angler's Alibi Alaska and in fact some of the very best fly fishing water on the Alagnak River is literally right out our front door. We also provide optional guided fly-outs to some of Alaska's other very best Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, and Grayling streams. |

We located Angler's Alibi Alaska
on the tidewater section of the Alagnak River,
so we are fishing for King, Sockeye, Silver, Chum & Pink Salmon when they are
still in their ocean feeding patterns, chrome bright and full of fight. The
fishing and wading is extremely easy on the Alagnak River.
Our location, years
of experience and small size (only 10 guests) ensure that we can spend several
hours on the river each day without seeing another fisherman!
If over nine
hours of guided fishing each day is not enough, our guests can always enjoy
more of the best fishing Alaska has to offer, right out front in the evening.
