Angler's Alibi AlaskaAlaska Fishing Lodge |
Unbelievable Alaska fishing and wildlife viewing, accessible only by floatplane, over 250 miles from the nearest highway, shared with only 10 guests. This is the trip most folks visualize when they think of Alaska, and this is the experience we provide, but you won't be roughing it. Comfortable Weatherport tent cabins, complete with carpeted wood floors, electricity, heat and maid service will be your home base. A typical evening: A couple of our guests with a guide at our fly-tying bench. Some of our hard-core fishermen back on the river, catching fish right out front; a cribbage or poker game; after dinner drinks, coffee and conversation on the deck or around the campfire; a fly-casting lesson on the dock. Someone yells bear, or moose out front and folks run to get their cameras. This is Angler's Alibi Alaska.

| Your day starts with a full course breakfast, including fresh fruit, pancakes or French toast, sausage and bacon, eggs to order, omelets, juice, coffee, etc. In fact, your first cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa will be delivered to you while you are still in bed. We usually eat lunch on the river, but return to camp for a hot lunch when the weather dictates. After a hard day of fishing we return to camp for a leisurely cocktail hour with smoked salmon, beer batter fried salmon and other hot appetizers. There is always plenty of time for a long hot shower or nap before a full course (Prime Rib, Shrimp Scampi, stuffed pork loin, etc.) dinner with fresh baked breads and homemade desserts. Complimentary wine is served for cocktail hour and with dinner. |

The reason all of these amenities are so important is that
whether you fly out to fish on another stream
or fish on the Alagnak, you will have the opportunity to spend more guided
time on the water than you would at most other Alaska lodges.
We want you to
be wined and dined and well rested so you can take advantage of this
opportunity. Our fishing program is our first priority, but we believe that
you should be catered to in every way possible.
Several of our guests had fished at other Bristol Bay area lodges before
visiting us. According to them they finally experienced what they had expected
in an Alaskan fishing trip at Angler's Alibi.
We will gladly supply you with a list of references.
Note: With only ten guests, if you want, or need to take a break,
we can take care of this easily, without affecting the other guests fishing
time.
